Hi, welcome to my profile. I am a displaced worker from Michigan. I worked as a social worker for 25 years, until I became a victim of the economic downturn of 2008. Outside of college and grad school, most of my writing has been work related reports and technical writing. I have written many procedural manuals and I developed and implemented an electronic medical record.
I have a husband and two daughters in college. I am continually amazed at how different their college experiences have been from mine. It is truly a different world. I am looking forward to seeing what experiences their chosen professions will bring.
I have spent the last four years or so trying to find the person that I lost at work. I am hopeful that being a member of Hub Pages will help in her rediscovery. So please bear with me, and you are more then welcome to come along on the journey.
